Passing Through the Dark

A narrow trace of light moves across the night, briefly registering direction before dissolving back into darkness. Color emerges not as spectacle, but as evidence of passage, a reminder that movement can be seen even when its source remains distant. The sky offers no frame and no resistance, only a surface for a momentary crossing. What lingers is the awareness of transit itself, an action completed almost as soon as it becomes visible.
