Journey Into Architecture Archives
My Role
As the Architect and Production Coordinator at Sharjah Architecture Triennial (SAT), I oversaw the production and preparation of exhibition spaces, including the Journey Into Architecture Archives exhibition. I was responsible for producing all the artistic elements and architectural models displayed in the space, ensuring each piece was crafted to align with the exhibition's vision and narrative. In addition, I managed the preparation of the gallery space itself, including the precise hanging and arrangement of printed architectural drawings to create a cohesive and engaging display. Collaborating closely with artists, curators, and technical teams, I ensured that every aspect of the exhibition met the highest quality and presentation standards. This experience sharpened my expertise in space design, model production, and exhibition coordination, allowing me to handle complex projects, manage timelines, and contribute to the successful realisation of impactful cultural events.
Project Goal
The exhibition showcases architectural archives from three Arab institutions, offering insights into selected items and projects while making architectural documentation accessible to all and fostering appreciation for the region’s heritage.
